漢語命名中傾向于加范疇詞，如 問題、狀態(tài)、情況、工作，有時本身沒有實質(zhì)的意義，翻譯時可以省去不譯。
　　例：總之，就全國范圍來說，我們一定能夠逐步順利解決沿海同內(nèi)地貧富差距的問題。
　　In short, taking the country as a whole, we are certainly able to settle the problem regarding the the wealth gap between the coastal and hinterland areas gradually and smoothly.
　　改譯： In short, taking the country as a whole, I am confident that we can gradually bridge the gap bewteen coastal and inland areas.
　　貧富差距的問題，如果直譯為 the problem regarding the wealth gap 顯然并沒有錯，但比較羅嗦，因為差距本身就是一個問題，因此在翻譯中可將范疇詞 問題刪除。
　　譯文二考慮到前文（這是鄧選中的）已經(jīng)談到貧富差距問題，因此又刪除了wealth，僅保留了 the gap，意思仍然清楚
