1、單詞重音后移

中國的英語學習者在讀英語單詞時，常犯重音位移錯誤,主要表現(xiàn)為將第一個音節(jié)重音后移至第二個音節(jié)。英文的重音就像中文的四聲，和單詞的發(fā)音是不可分割 的，重音后移聽起來會有非常的奇怪的聲調。最常見的重音后移的單詞是interesting，它的重音在最前面，而不是在t的前面。類似的還有 subject、mobile、recent等，這些單詞的重音也都在最前面。

2.太愛發(fā)“兒”化音

一直以來，受美劇的影響，加上雅思口語考試對語音的包容性，讓很多考生選擇了自己喜歡的美式英語，但這也意味著很多考生開始了對“兒”化音的情有獨鐘，即 不加區(qū)分地卷舌發(fā)兒化音。鄧老師說濟南環(huán)球雅思的很多學員都有這方面的毛病，如 “because”和“of course”并不一樣，后者有“r”可以“兒”化;前者卻沒有，可很多學員都喜歡把它讀成[bi’k?rz]。事實上，無論英式美式，它都發(fā) [bi’k?z]。banana，Christmas，August，idea都是很典型的例子，單詞的拼寫中并沒有“r”，但是考生卻莫名其妙非要讀出 “r”的音。通常我們所說的兒化音只有在單詞中出現(xiàn)字母r時才會有相應的發(fā)音出現(xiàn)。

3.輔音發(fā)不準確

首當其沖的是th的發(fā)音，凡是遇到th我們都要咬舌頭，比如the， think， this， mother， both， three， through， month， maths。絕大多數(shù)學生在遇到th時，都用/s/或/z/來替代，沒有伸出舌尖。這樣做的結果是自己說得很舒服，聽的人很不舒服。

英語輔音/n//l/的發(fā)音部位和漢語的這兩個音的發(fā)音部位基本是一致的，/l/是舌側音，發(fā)音時舌尖抵住上齒齦，氣流由舌頭兩旁出來，/n/是鼻音，發(fā) 音時也是舌尖抵住上齒齦，但氣流是從鼻腔里出來的。這個區(qū)別如果不注意加以強調的話，學生一出口就容易犯錯誤，以name一詞為代表。容易/n//l/淆 的常見詞還有：let，like，live，light，low，night，ninenose，net等等。

4.長元音和雙元音不飽滿

雙元音是指音標中的八個音[ei][ai][?i][au][?u] [i?][ε?][u?]。正確的雙元音讀法應該經(jīng)歷一個先升再降的拋物線式拖音過程，強弱分明，而不是很多同學的直線式發(fā)音，比如把[?u]讀成“歐” 音，[ai]讀成“愛”音，[au]讀成“奧”音等等。發(fā)雙元音時如果不注意強弱區(qū)別、飽和度不夠的話，往往會影響聽力理解。

I love to meet new people. Today, I would like to talk about a charismatic person I met a year ago.

Last year I was going to Mumbai by train for an official meeting. On the way, a young lady boarded the train from a small railway station. She occupied the seat in front of me. Very soon we started talking about our hobbies, studies and work etc. Her name was Sukriti Singh. She was a second-year student of the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

One particular thing which made her quite special was her high confidence level. Normally, girls don’t travel alone in my country. In most cases, they are accompanied by their parents or some other family member. But, since she was on her own, that clearly reflected her boldness.

I found this girl very interesting. Her in-depth knowledge of latest technology and space science made me re-think about my opinion about females. I used to think that Indian women are only interested in fashion. Science is not their cup of tea. But, this meeting was a real mind-changer. She helped open my eyes towards the common attitude of ignorance males have towards females regarding their intelligence.
